TRC Journal of Medicine (TRCJM) is an international scientific, open-access journal published in accordance with the principles of an independent, impartial, and blind peer review. TRCJM is the official publication of the Turkish Red Crescent Society and published quarterly. The journal is published in English. The journal also prepares an extended abstract in Turkish that is published alongside each article and is shared on the website.
TRCJM mainly aims to create a scientific forum by producing qualified publications in fields related to emergency medicine, disaster medicine, and public health thus providing contributions to the related literature. The journal also aims to contribute to shaping policies in these fields in Turkey by publishing the most current original studies.
As an interdisciplinary journal, TRCJM accepts submissions from various disciplines provided they are related to emergency medicine, disaster medicine, or public health. With its multidisciplinary approach, the journal publishes empirical research, evaluations, editorial notes, case studies, and historical documents from the perspective of both Turkey and the world.
